About FlexShopper

FlexShopper, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of FlexShopper, Inc. (Nasdaq: FPAY), is a financial and technology company that provides brand name durable goods to consumers on a lease-to-own (LTO) basis through its e-commerce marketplace and LTO payment method. The company also provides LTO technology platforms to retailers and e-tailers to enter into transactions with consumers who want to obtain durable goods but do not have the available cash or credit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to lease-to-own and lending operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance issues, providing guidance and support to operational teams.
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate the on-boarding, of-boarding, and renewal of vendor relationships, ensuring compliant and timely submission of all relevant applications.
  • Review and assess implications of current and proposed regulations, presenting analysis to leaders and proposing corrective actions.
  • Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations that impact the company's operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports on audit findings and recommend corrective actions, maintaining comprehensive documentation of compliance activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Vendor Due Diligence, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably in BSA/AML.
  • Vendor due diligence experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex regulatory issues clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
