We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Officer to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Senior Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing armed security presence throughout our hospital campuses, assessing threats, and mitigating offenses against public order and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide armed security presence throughout hospital campuses
  • Assess threats and provide immediate response to mitigate offenses
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed
  • Perform security and safety duties as assigned by the Lead Security Officer
  • Investigate and report incidents, submitting thorough reports to leadership
  • Pick up hours as needed at our acute care facilities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED Certificate required
  • Valid NYS Drivers License
  • Unexpired NYS Armed Security Guard License (includes firearms training and a valid NYS pistol permit)
  • Minimum of five years Armed Security Guard experience
  • Five (5) years Healthcare/Hospital security or five (5) years Law Enforcement experience preferred
  • Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the New York State Penal Law and Criminal Procedure Law
  • Knowledge and understanding of the use of force continuum and its application within a private security setting
