Job Summary
We are seeking a HVAC and Controls Engineering Lead to join our team at Sunbelt Controls. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge building automation systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- HVAC and Controls Design: Design and implement HVAC and controls systems for building automation systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
- Engineering Leadership: Lead a team of engineers in designing and implementing building automation systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of building automation systems.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to building automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and controls engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or related languages.
- Building Codes and Industry Standards: Familiarity with Building Codes and industry standards.
- Technical Curiosity: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $200,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Occasional overtime may be necessary due to business needs.
