Job Title: Child Care Teacher

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a qualified Child Care Teacher to join our team. As a Child Care Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our child care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum using the Vermont Early Childhood Learning Standards
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition for children
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Teacher Assistants and Classroom Aides
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by state regulations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 21 college credits in Early Education or a qualifying Associate's Degree
  • Must meet or exceed Vermont standards for Teacher Associate position
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or as an Early Elementary Educator
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Knowledge of Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
