About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a Food Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members to deliver exceptional guest service and drive sales growth in the Food and Beverage department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of hourly team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional guest service
  • Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement
  • Model guest service standards and demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience
  • Assess Food Service back of house, production areas, dining spaces, and merchandising spaces to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels
  • Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications
  • Ensure proper execution on all food safety standards and cleaning routines
  • Participate in team onboarding and learning and close knowledge and skill gaps through training and experiences
  • Support your Executive Team Leader to create a safety advocacy culture by understanding how safety impacts your role and that of your team, identifying and correcting hazards, and holding team accountable to working in a safe manner to benefit themselves and others
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business
  • Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
