Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Monitor patient progress, identify potential issues, and report concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/caregiver teaching to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Utilize effective communication and documentation skills to ensure accurate and timely reporting of patient information.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
