Key Responsibilities:

Install and troubleshoot 12V, 110V, and 3-phase electrical system components. Install aftermarket and OEM vehicle lighting and accessories. Conduct quality control repairs and rework as necessary. Follow verbal and written instructions effectively in English. Maintain a keen attention to detail. Work independently with minimal supervision. Prioritize tasks to meet production targets set by the department. Foster cooperative working relationships with colleagues. Adhere to safety standards specific to the department. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace. Comply with all quality assurance and quality control standards for assigned tasks. Follow company rules of conduct and attendance as outlined in the employee handbook. Handle hazardous waste appropriately and ensure proper disposal. Keep all satellite and storage containers closed unless in use. Be familiar with the Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan. Understand spill response procedures and evacuation routes. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders. Skilled in using measuring devices, including volt meters and test lights. Capable of troubleshooting and repairing electrical system components. Ability to meet quality and time standards for all operations. Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings. Basic knowledge of using pneumatic and power tools safely. General understanding of OSHA and EPA standards. Training in Hazardous Materials Handling Operations is required, with annual refreshers. Hazardous waste training will be provided within six months of employment, with ongoing reviews annually.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds without assistance. Ability to work from various positions, including squatting and kneeling. Ability to work with arms raised above head. Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding. Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods. Ability to safely use specified hand, air, power tools, and machinery. Ability to operate and understand all protective safety equipment in the area. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Required to handle and dispose of hazardous waste safely. Ability to work in high-temperature environments for extended periods. Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The employee may occasionally encounter toxic or caustic chemicals.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive electrical installation within a manufacturing setting.
