Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machining Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Vam Precision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our CNC machining operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality in production.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with a proven track record of optimizing machine utilization and minimizing downtime. They will also possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with experience in production planning and scheduling.

The CNC Machining Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily machining operations and ensuring that all production targets are met.
  • Optimizing machine utilization and minimizing downtime through effective planning and scheduling.
  • Reviewing and modifying CNC programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting programming and machine issues to minimize downtime and ensure quality production.
  • Scheduling preventive maintenance and addressing equipment breakdowns promptly.
  • Managing the repair and replacement of machine components to ensure optimal performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, and materials, as well as quality control and inspection knowledge. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 8 years of CNC machining experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Relevant certifications in CNC machining and programming (a plus).
