About the Role
As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, your contributions are vital to our production process. Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Operating CNC machinery to meet production goals
  • Setting up machines, monitoring operations, and inspecting initial runs to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Creating and modifying CNC programs
  • Upholding a safe work environment and fostering health and safety practices
  • Ensuring machines operate efficiently
  • Reporting maintenance needs and conducting inspections on CNC equipment
  • Collaborating with operations to schedule workloads effectively
  • Troubleshooting manufacturing challenges
  • Documenting scrap materials and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Providing training and mentorship to team members
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Performing additional tasks as necessary
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience or training in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines
  • Experience with G-Code programming
  • Familiarity with GibbsCAM software is advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • A commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
