Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to coordinate health care services, ensure timely delivery of care, and provide administrative support. Responsibilities:- Coordinate appointments and arrange transportation for client health services
- Accompany clients to appointments as required
- Ensure all follow-up directives are relayed to all relevant parties
- Perform all related administrative duties
- Administer medication as directed
- Report any changes in health or nutritional status
- Record accurate data onto logs, case records, etc.
- Assess clients daily when in the home
- Perform 6-month health assessments on all clients
- Interact positively and constructively with all parties
- Attend all trainings and other related meetings as required
- Must have RN license in New Mexico
- Five (5) years experience in healthcare with persons with developmental disabilities preferred
- Three (3) years supervised nursing experience preferred
- Current license to practice nursing within the State of New Mexico
- Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and other required trainings/certifications
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with internal and external customers of Adelante
- Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures
- Capable of giving and receiving instructions in written and verbal forms
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors, and co-workers
- Must pass TB test and background check
- Must have own reliable transportation, valid NM driver's license, insurable driving record, and proof of current liability insurance
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, carry, and perform keyboarding/typing tasks frequently
- Must be able to squat, reach above shoulder(s), kneel, balance, push, pull, and lift 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be sufficiently mobile to visit various sites without prior notice
$35.00 per hour. $3,500 Hiring Bonus after 90 days.
