We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Facility Stephens Memorial Hospital.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide patient and family teaching, and ensure that high standards of professional nursing practice are maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Active RN license is required.
- License/Certifications: RQI BLS Certification within the first 30 days of employment is mandatory. Additional certifications may be required based on departmental policies.
- Experience: While experience is not necessary, a strong understanding of nursing processes, chart/medical record documentation, and medical terminology is essential.
- Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors, and other staff. You must also possess skills in time management, problem-solving, multitasking, prioritizing, and medical care coordination.
- Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills are required, and you must be able to calculate and administer drug dosages and injections accurately.
Estimated Salary
$62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience.
