We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Sun Auto Service Houston. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their vehicle service experience.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide prompt and professional service to customers, both in person and over the phone, using our standardized customer service techniques.
- Service Recommendations: Listen to and thoroughly document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer service needs.
- Service Sales: Recommend services according to your level of knowledge and clearly communicate any additional recommendations from our Automotive Technicians to customers, so they can make informed decisions.
- Quote and Update: Provide customers with accurate quotes that include cost and time of completion for approved services, and provide updates throughout the day on the status of their services.
- Post-Service Follow-up: Conduct follow-up phone calls to ensure customer satisfaction for all individual customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Service Advisor is highly preferred, but not required.
- Skills: Professional appearance, ability to work in a process-driven environment, and valid driver's license.
- Certifications: ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification is highly preferred, but not required.
- Competitive Pay: $21.00 per hour + bonus (uncapped bonus).
- Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, and discounted services on personal and immediate family vehicles.
- Work-Life Balance: 5-day workweek, Sundays off, and paid vacation and sick time.
