Senior Candidate Services Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Candidate Services Liaison to join our team at the NYC Campaign Finance Board. As a key member of our Candidate Services Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campaign finance program.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of Candidate Services liaisons and coordinate with other senior liaisons to ensure clear and consistent communications across the unit.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the CFB and candidates running for New York City office, providing guidance on campaign finance regulations and policies.
- Monitor and assist campaigns in preparing campaign finance disclosure reports and provide one-on-one guidance on matters of compliance.
- Develop and execute agency projects in collaboration with the Deputy Director of Candidate Services and oversee the troubleshooting of disclosure issues.
- Review and archive compliance guidance with policy attorneys and ensure team coordination on assignments and project deliverables.
- Conduct trainings for candidates, treasurers, campaign staff, and the general public on campaign finance regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, auditing, business, or public administration, and at least one year of experience in campaign finance, elections, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of New York City government and politics, as well as campaign finance laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, especially in a regulatory environment.
