Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Nichiha. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies and driving specification position for our products with the Architect, Specifier, General Contractor, and Installer community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement agreed-upon sales strategies and programs to increase sales output
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales strategies and programs
  • Build relationships with Architects, General Contractors, Installers, and other key stakeholders in the construction community
  • Influence the specification process with Specification Writers/Creators
  • Develop partnerships within the General Contractor and Installer community to increase awareness of Nichiha's products
  • Identify top General Contractors that can influence material changes and position Nichiha as a cladding of choice
  • Liaise with specialty and commodity Installers to position Nichiha as a revenue-generating cladding for their business
  • Track and maintain a project pipeline from specification to order received
  • Document all activities and present AIA/CES courses to Architects
  • Assist in the development of new AIA CES offerings and present product knowledge trainings to General Contractors and Installers
  • Coordinate market intelligence on product, program, shipping, and market segments
  • Collaborate with other Nichiha personnel to provide technical assistance, training, project-start-up, dealer assistance, contractor assistance, problem resolution, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in building materials sales
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and maintain a robust client database
  • Proficient in face-to-face sales and able to create product and technical presentations
  • Excellent presentation skills and general understanding of the construction process
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and experience using Dodge Data
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
