Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct patient care while adhering to the nursing process and established policies of Harris Regional Hospital. This role requires compliance with the standards set by the state board of nursing and other regulatory agencies. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and will prioritize patient care based on the qualifications and experience of the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state.
2. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
3. AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within one year of hire and maintained thereafter.
