Position Summary:
The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in identifying root causes of issues on the production floor and implementing effective corrective measures for process-related challenges. This position collaborates with the Quality Manager to uphold the ISO quality management system and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform root cause analysis to address quality concerns.
- Proactively implement corrective actions for process-related challenges.
- Support the maintenance of the ISO quality management system and promote continuous enhancements.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop new ISO procedures.
- Oversee multiple quality-related projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Technical Engineering degree.
Experience and Skills Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in ISO quality systems.
- Experience in machine shops, automotive, or related industries (PPAP using APQP).
- Ability to interpret blueprints and understand technical specifications.
- Hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of specialty control valves.
- Experience in writing and reviewing PPAP documentation.
