Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in identifying root causes of issues on the production floor and implementing effective corrective measures for process-related challenges. This position collaborates with the Quality Manager to uphold the ISO quality management system and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform root cause analysis to address quality concerns.
  • Proactively implement corrective actions for process-related challenges.
  • Support the maintenance of the ISO quality management system and promote continuous enhancements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop new ISO procedures.
  • Oversee multiple quality-related projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Engineering degree.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in ISO quality systems.
  • Experience in machine shops, automotive, or related industries (PPAP using APQP).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and understand technical specifications.
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of specialty control valves.
  • Experience in writing and reviewing PPAP documentation.
