Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.

About the Role

The Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is a 22-bed unit that provides specialized care to patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. As a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to adulthood across the spectrum of their hospital course.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Preferred experience in pediatric and/or Emergency
  • BLS certification provided by AHA
