Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those who are critically ill and require life-sustaining interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- 2+ years of experience in pediatric ICU or cardiovascular ICU nursing.
- PALS/BLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with managing care of pediatric patients with congenital heart defects.
- Experience with managing care of pediatric patients on multiple vasoactive infusions.
