We are seeking a physician assistant (PA) or family nurse practitioner (FNP) to join our team in the emergency department (ED) at Abrazo Health in Phoenix, Arizona.
Program OverviewOur Jumpstart Program provides a comprehensive training experience for new graduates or experienced professionals looking to transition into emergency medicine. Through this program, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple locations with experienced physicians and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, basic joint reductions, and foreign body removal.
- Stabilize and manage patients with ESI level 2-5 conditions.
- Conduct rapid medical examinations and identify emergent conditions.
- Collaborate with APCs, supervising physicians, hospitalists, and specialists to manage patient care.
- Efficiently disposition patients within goal length of stay (LOS).
- Competitive compensation based on years of experience.
- Flexible 8-12 hour shifts.
