Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment, ensuring patient privacy and safety.
- Obtain vital signs and collect data for patients to be seen by providers.
- Perform waiting room and exam room rounding, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Assist providers with procedures, including EKGs, ear washes, vision screenings, and more.
- Clean and stock exam rooms, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Participate in code team activities, providing critical support in emergency situations.
- Apply and charge for Durable Medical Equipment, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask, learn, and retain information regarding patient care procedures.
- Demonstrated compassion and caring in dealing with others.
