Job Title: Customer Service Representative

At Unified Bank, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering a world-class experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm, friendly, and courteous service to customers by processing bank transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Regularly attempt to cross-sell other products by asking for the business, being alert to customer needs through listening skills, and suggesting products that would be of benefit to our customers.
  • Receive commercial/personal checking/savings deposits and loan payments, verify cash, endorsements, and post and stale dates, and enter all information into the bank's computer system before issuing a receipt.
  • Cash and process checks in accordance with the Check Cashing Policy.
  • Sell cashiers checks and cash advances in accordance with procedures.
  • Accurately maintain cash/coin drawer to ensure daily balancing in accordance with all policies and procedures.
  • Assist with ATM maintenance and balances ATM on a weekly basis, if applicable.
  • Participate in community service events when appropriate.
  • Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Prior cash handling experience.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Excellent business communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • General computer skills.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential function of this job.

Generally, works in an office environment, but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
