Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Electrophysiology division in Minnetonka, MN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with front-line engineers to build knowledge for current state operations
- Manage projects aimed at designing and developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers and technicians
- Conduct Process FMEAs and Process Validations
- Improve product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput through Lean manufacturing concepts
- Coordinate the design, procurement, build, and debug of tooling, machinery, and test equipment
- Work with Product Development to ensure Design for Manufacturability
- Be innovative, resourceful, and work with minimal direction
- Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical or any engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience. Prior medical device manufacturing engineering experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability in team settings
- Ability to lead and motivate peers, drive change, and problem-solve with creativity
