We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Culinary and Procurement Manager to join our team at Trinity Health. This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in culinary arts, procurement, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the culinary and procurement functions to ensure seamless operations and high-quality food service.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve food quality, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage and oversee the procurement process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of culinary and procurement staff.
- Completion of an accredited culinary institution program or equivalent degree.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive multi-site experience in the general culinary, hospitality, or healthcare food service management field.
- Extensive experience in menu development, recipe development, program development, and implementation, and driving high-volume purchasing and contract compliance.
- Certification from the American Culinary Federation (or equivalent) and LEAN certification preferred.
This position requires continuous clinical/patient-facing work environment. The employee will work indoors under temperature-controlled and well-lit conditions, with occasional variable external environmental conditions. The employee may be required to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and will be required to sit for long periods, with occasional long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing.
