Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the procurement process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of culinary and procurement staff.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited culinary institution program or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive multi-site experience in the general culinary, hospitality, or healthcare food service management field.
  • Extensive experience in menu development, recipe development, program development, and implementation, and driving high-volume purchasing and contract compliance.
  • Certification from the American Culinary Federation (or equivalent) and LEAN certification preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires continuous clinical/patient-facing work environment. The employee will work indoors under temperature-controlled and well-lit conditions, with occasional variable external environmental conditions. The employee may be required to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and will be required to sit for long periods, with occasional long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing.
