Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Linux server management (RedHat and Ubuntu distributions)

  • Experience in administering and maintaining databases/data repositories (including MySQL, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous involvement with IT security compliance frameworks (NIST, PCI, HIPAA, CMMC)
  • Familiarity with MacOS server management
  • Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Comprehensive understanding of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) processes

Work Setting:

This role operates under a hybrid work arrangement. The chosen candidate will be expected to be present on-site for a minimum of three days each week to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Candidates should be local at the start of their engagement. The specific work schedule will be established by the hiring authority.

Security Clearance:

An interim security clearance is adequate to begin this position.
