Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Samuel Contract Staffing. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of donors and the quality of the plasma collection process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and greet donors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Set up and operate the collection device, ensuring proper equipment function and donor safety.
  • Perform arm scrubs and verify label sets to ensure accuracy and product purity.
  • Operate automated collection equipment, performing quality control checks and completing documentation requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to cGMPs and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective plasma collection processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Annual GMP training and previous experience as a phlebotomist in a blood or plasma collection center preferred.
  • Ability to work extended shifts, including weekends, and lift up to 40lbs.
  • Basic computer skills and occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain preferred.
