HumanEdge Travel Nursing and Allied Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work with our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and draping.
- Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and MRI machines.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiologic technology principles and practices.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Completion of a AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
- Interventional Radiology certification preferred.
- One to two years of Neuro experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid BLS.
