The E-commerce Merchandising Specialist is essential in integrating new products into our online platform, ensuring alignment with our physical retail locations. This role will assist in both administrative and tactical operations of the Online Merchandising team, focusing on the visual presentation of our e-commerce site. The ideal candidate will thrive under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Collaboration with Buying, Creative, Marketing, Visual Sales, and Technology teams is crucial to enhance and develop the online product assortment, product details, category specifics, and overall website merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the new product onboarding process, fostering cross-functional collaborations while proactively working towards targeted launch timelines.
  • Facilitate the routing process within the new product setup and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Support the Online Merchandising Manager with daily execution validation.
  • Generate weekly reports and keep the Online Merchandising team informed on progress, ensuring follow-through on action items.
  • Analyze weekly reports to understand and manage overall business performance.
  • Provide product information to Creative, Marketing, Social, and Public Relations teams based on scheduled meetings.
  • Assist the Online Merchandising team with testing processes for the Homepage and Campaign Page, User Generated Content (UGC), creating links, and other ad hoc requests.
  • Contribute to the execution of the overall e-commerce merchandising strategy.
  • Review the website, customer feedback, online analytics, and product imagery to recommend enhancements for an improved customer experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive company and customer information.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college degree.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience; e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of HTML is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with online analytics platforms, with a preference for Adobe Analytics.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety.
  • Commitment to scheduled hours with flexibility to accommodate changing business needs.
  • Passion for the industry and awareness of current trends.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
