About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Member Trainer to join our Supply Chain Facilities team at Target. As a key member of our training team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that new team members receive the best possible onboarding experience and are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Training Operations Manager and Training Specialists to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and tenured team members.
  • Facilitate Warehouse Worker and Warehouse Associate training, including new hire, core, and specialty training, as well as cross-training and recertification.
  • Deliver consistent and standard training to ensure safety is the top priority.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Support onboarding and retention efforts to ensure new hires feel welcome and supported.
  • Monitor and measure progress to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of distribution or training experience, with a focus on employee training and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and ideas to team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately use mathematical concepts.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, with the ability to occasionally work across multiple shifts.
