About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Care Specialist - Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Mental Health Systems, Inc. in Kings County, Hanford, CA.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will provide mental health services to clients, including assessments, therapy sessions, and case management. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client cases and share best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in a related field and a valid license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) from the State of California.
- At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in a community-based setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office software.
