Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Specialist

About the Role:

In this critical position, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion, equity, and diversity at Sound Generations. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that drive meaningful change within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion plans and programs that align with Sound Generations' values and mission.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and staff to create a culture of inclusivity and respect, ensuring that all employees feel valued and supported.
  • Provide training and resources to help staff navigate complex issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion work, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing DEI initiatives and programs that drive meaningful change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $45,670 - $55,280 per year, based on a 20-hour workweek. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer matching. Paid time off, sick leave, and holidays are also provided.
