Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analyses of building designs, codes, and engineering standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed structural designs and models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in fieldwork and site visits, working closely with senior engineers and designers to gather data and inform design decisions.
  • Perform calculations and data analysis to design and optimize building components, leveraging company-standard software and proprietary manufacturer tools.
  • Assist with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity, applying critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to drive results.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of data to support design decisions, working closely with colleagues to ensure accurate and informed decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff, contributing to the success of our projects and the growth of our team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and concepts, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and designs to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in component design software such as Enercalc and Tedds, and general matrix analysis software like RISA and RAM Elements.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, with a focus on structural engineering or a related field.
  • Previous co-op or internship experience preferred, but not required.
