Job Overview

The role of the Physician Clinic Receptionist is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our specialty clinic. This position involves managing appointment scheduling, patient registration, check-in processes, and various administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Clinic Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform front desk duties, including greeting patients and distributing necessary paperwork.
  • Accurately enter patient information, including insurance details and demographic data, into the medical records system.
  • Handle payment transactions at the time of service.
  • Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere within the clinic.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. While general secretarial experience is required, prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Additional post-secondary education may substitute for a year of required experience. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is expected.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with day hours from Monday to Friday.
