Oviedo Medical Center, a 64-bed acute care hospital, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental requirements and state standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
