Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered respiratory care. Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies, and monitoring patients receiving mechanical ventilation. Effective communication with healthcare teams is essential to ensure seamless patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Associate Degree from an accredited institution
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or PALS Instructor certification
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
