Position SummaryThe Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in leveraging knowledge from biological, physical, and social sciences to support the effective delivery of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing the operating room schedule.
- Provide consultation in complex patient care scenarios requiring advanced expertise.
- Act as a clinical resource for problem-solving and support staff in patient-related emergencies.
- Collaborate with various departments and patient care services to ensure quality nursing care and facilitate case progression.
- Serve as a role model, fostering staff development in nursing practices aligned with national standards.
- Identify and address non-compliance with hospital policies, utilizing the Policy and Procedure Manual as a reference.
- Contribute to cost management efforts, including product evaluation and inventory oversight.
Education and Licensure:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an operating room setting.
