Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator will oversee and coordinate personnel and facilitate research projects at Texas A&M AgriLife. This role involves assisting with the selection, enrollment, education, testing, data entry, and monitoring of research project subjects.

Provides nursing care to research subjects enrolled in studies, including ultrasound, phlebotomy, anthropometry, and oral glucose tolerance tests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subjects involved in research projects and blood work.
  • Coordinate personnel, facilities, and subject recruitment for multiple projects.
  • Oversee technical aspects of functional research experiments and administrative functions of clinical research studies.
  • Implement, manage, and analyze study protocols concerning research on reproductive health, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and nutrition.
  • Maintain and oversee database for research.
  • Perform administrative duties, including writing, filing, data entry, and setting appointments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience in clinical research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Knowledge of research project administration and general nursing procedures.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.

Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
Licensed Nurse, Certified phlebotomist, and CPR certified.

Hourly rate may be negotiable based on candidate's qualifications and experience
