{"What We're Looking For": "At HNTB, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our infrastructure projects. As a Project Inspector II, you'll be responsible for monitoring the construction process to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract provisions. Your attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our company.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in construction and a passion for quality assurance. You'll work closely with our field engineers to review inspection work, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents and plans.
* Verify that procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection work, including labor and equipment usage, material quantities, and testing results.
* Perform on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.
* Collaborate with field engineers to identify and resolve discrepancies or conflicts.

What You'll Need:

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction-related experience.
* All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

What You'll Bring:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills.

What We Prefer:

* WVDOH Transportation Engineering Technician Level 3 or Level 4
