Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Maintenance Specialist to join our team at FreshDirect. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conveyor belt systems and other plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair conveyor belt systems, including regular inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues with conveyor belt systems and other plant equipment
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in conveyor belt maintenance and repair
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in conveyor belt maintenance and repair, or a related field
  • Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration
  • Strong knowledge of conveyor belt systems and plant equipment
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
