We are in search of a Financial Operations Manager who will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This role is crucial for overseeing all financial and accounting functions within the organization. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving the company's financial performance metrics, including effective expense management and job profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring that financial statements and analyses are generated monthly, quarterly, and annually in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Maintain and update 13-week cash forecasts and cash balances on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee all accounting operations and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Recommend performance benchmarks to measure the company’s financial health.
  • Develop and produce the annual budget and forecasts, collaborating with all departments.
  • Facilitate annual financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage the accounting team effectively.
  • Implement strategies to control manufacturing costs and establish systems to monitor profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CMA/CPA certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 5 years of experience with DCAA compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust accounting skills, including treasury management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit management.
