The Customer Care Specialist I role is a critical position within our contact center, requiring a high level of professionalism, independence, and technical expertise. As the primary customer support representative, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with customers to resolve issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with escalation partners to identify, document, and monitor exceptions to standard processes.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers through problem-solving, consulting, and educating them about Manheim and its partners.
- Identify, assess, and resolve customer issues, determining who needs communication on these issues, including central functions such as IT or Product.
- Provide responsive, timely telephone, chat, and email support, acting as the single point of contact for customer issues.
- Oversee and monitor the resolution of all problems, regardless of delegation to other departments.
- High School Diploma or GED required; College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of call center and/or client interfacing experience.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at a time.
- Foundational knowledge of computers and technology, internet, and email.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in a phone or email context.
- Experience working in a contact center metrics-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to operate under tight pressure.
- Experience working in the automotive industry.
Occasional exposure to fumes, odors, and weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits:Hourly base pay rate is $23.75/hour, with potential for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program. Employees are eligible for a minimum of 16 hours of paid time off every month and 7 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
