Construction Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Administrator to join our team at Innova Solutions in Nashville, TN. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
About the Role:This position will support project teams in contracts administration, providing direct assistance to the administration & professional members within the Development & Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract assembly, preparation, and routing for professional services and construction contracts, as well as contract amendments and change orders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SMWBE/MBE requirements and be thoroughly knowledgeable about prevalent contract delivery methodologies within the construction industry, especially traditional and progressive design-build with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).
Key Responsibilities:- Data entry related to contract and payment development and tracking
- Document development and routing of contractual related documents
- Drafting, assembly, and preparing of payment application invoices
- Department invoice tracking
- Contract assembly, preparation, and routing for professional services and construction contracts
- Contract amendments and change orders
- Board staff analysis documents
- Tracking, invoicing, and management of annual or on-call contracts
- Contract renewal of annual or on-call contracts
- Owner controlled insurance program and insurance tracking
- Assists with revisions and updating of the department standard operating procedures
- Participate in preparation, assembly, and review of bid documents for procurement of design, construction, and management services on behalf of the owner
- Participate in development and review of Scope of Work, RFP/RFQ/ITB documents, and contract terms and conditions
- Provides support to project delivery team and coordinates inter-departmental correspondence during bidding and award phase
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction contracts administration
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of SMWBE/MBE requirements and prevalent contract delivery methodologies
The estimated salary range for this position is $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
