Job Title: EEG Technologist

Job Summary:
CentraCare is seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at CentraCare Neurosciences at River Campus and St Cloud Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and performing various neurodiagnostic modalities, as well as associated paperwork. Additional responsibilities include training department personnel on modality performance and assessing individual competency in modality performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and perform various neurodiagnostic modalities.
  • Conduct associated paperwork and documentation.
  • Train department personnel on modality performance.
  • Assess individual competency in modality performance.
  • Support patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Requirements:
  • Clinical experience in a Neurodiagnostic department required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registration by the American Board of Registry for Electroneurodiagnostics Technology (ABRET) within 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an accredited School of Electroneurodiagnostics Technology (EEG) program.
  • 1 year's experience in performance of Neurodiagnostic procedures.
