Job Summary

As a Neurodiagnostic Technician at CentraCare, you will play a critical role in preparing and performing various neurodiagnostic modalities. This includes associated paperwork and training department personnel on modality performance. You will work with patients of all ages, demonstrating the ability to take responsibility for performance and programs, assess individual competency in modality performance, assess patient data, and present to physician/hospital personnel which may affect the diagnosis/treatment of the patient. Additionally, you will support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. You will also demonstrate Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and perform various neurodiagnostic modalities
  • Train department personnel on modality performance
  • Assess patient data and present to physician/hospital personnel
  • Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices
  • Demonstrate Family Centered Care principles

Requirements
  • Clinical experience in a Neurodiagnostic department required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA)
  • American Board of Registry for Electroneurodiagnostics Technology (ABRET) Registry by American Board (ABRET) obtained within 2 years

Preferred Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited School of Electroneurodiagnostics Technology (EEG) program
  • 1 year's Experience in performance of Neurodiagnostic procedures
