About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative focused on revenue growth and agency support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of insurance products, policies, and procedures to effectively assist customers and address their needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, actively promoting agency growth and revenue generation.
  • Assist customers in assessing their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and claims promptly and efficiently, ensuring revenue opportunities are maximized.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes to insurance products and services to effectively address customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and policy documentation to support sales and retention efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and exceptional service to drive customer loyalty and referral business.
  • Assist in prospecting and generating new leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and community involvement, with a focus on driving sales growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the agency to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency, with a focus on enhancing sales effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about competitive offerings and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies and driving revenue growth.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries or issues, ensuring a sales-oriented approach is maintained while delivering exceptional service.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth through training and development, with a focus on enhancing sales skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and actively support the agency's goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build rapport while actively promoting sales and revenue growth.
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in maintaining accurate customer records and policy documentation.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in using technology and computer systems, including insurance quoting software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively while maintaining a sales-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, or the ability to quickly learn about insurance products to actively promote sales and revenue growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints and conflicts effectively while maintaining a focus on revenue generation.
