Nurse Care Specialist

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care to assigned patients in conformance with hospital policies, professional standards, physician orders, and approved plan of care.
- Responsible for indirect nursing functions and activities of assigned nursing personnel.
- Serves as patient advocate.
- Provides teaching, counseling, and emotional comfort to patients and family members.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have at least one year of RN experience and be proficient in all phases of assigned duties. ICU experience is strongly preferred. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Salary Information
This position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. External candidates may be eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
