Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Surgical Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and support to our surgical team. As a Surgical Technologist 2, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining aseptic technique, and expediting surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Maintain aseptic technique and sterile environments
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Manage surgical instrumentation and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure execution
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire
  • BLS via AHA required
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) via NCCT preferred
