As a Concrete Superintendent, you will be an integral part of our construction team, managing all aspects of concrete construction for wastewater treatment plants.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of concrete construction for wastewater treatment plants, ensuring that specifications and standards are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and staff.
  • Review project plans and specifications to determine the appropriate construction methods, sequence of operations, and manpower requirements.
  • Ensure that all concrete structures, formwork, and yard piping are constructed in accordance with design specifications.
  • Oversee the selection and requisition of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identifying any potential issues or delays, and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant construction, with a proven track record in managing concrete structures and formwork.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to wastewater treatment plant construction.
  • Proficiency in yard piping and the ability to oversee its installation and maintenance.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety, with the ability to implement and maintain safety protocols on a construction site.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and technology.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour safety training, CPR and First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license are highly desirable.
