Job Summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a highly skilled Survey Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily field crew activities. The successful candidate will report directly to the project manager and be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of field data and daily progress reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign, direct, and monitor field effort of survey crews from field to office
  • Coordinate field crew schedules with the office project manager, client representative, and construction personnel
  • Verify the quality of field data, quantities, and daily progress reports of pipeline projects
  • Prepare and lead daily staff and safety meetings
  • Prepare daily construction reports for signature and approval
  • Effectively communicate with clients, contractors, inspectors, and project managers on a daily basis
  • Evaluate resumes and make recommendations for hiring staff, performance evaluations, salary decisions, and disciplinary actions
  • Set direction, priorities, and allocate resources within a group or project; define job roles, determine work to be completed, and make assignments to staff; distribute workload and establish work deadlines; set work quality expectations
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of oil and gas industry surveying practices
  • High school diploma
  • 10+ years of work experience in the oil and gas industry as a surveyor
