Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Party Chief in conducting boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for clients
  • Perform routine tasks to gain familiarity with equipment, terminology, and operating procedures
  • Carry out tasks such as cutting brush and hammering iron and wood stakes
  • Adhere to safety requirements
  • Complete routine work that does not require prior experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to physically perform tasks such as cutting brush and hammering iron and wood stakes
  • Compliance with safety requirements
  • Knowledge of traffic control and safety procedures for various surveying and construction operations
  • Familiarity with proper procedures for the care, cleaning, and use of surveying tools and electronic equipment
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Work outside for 8-10 hours a day
  • Walk 2 miles
