About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team at Conexess Group, LLC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex projects in the healthcare IT sector, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, adherence to compliance and quality standards, and alignment with the strategic objectives of the business case.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and track technology deliverables, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery, adherence to compliance and quality standards, and alignment with the strategic objectives of the business case.
  • Foster growth and capabilities of team members through mentoring and coaching.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance processes and continuously improve them.
  • Facilitate project planning with internal teams and strategic partners using standard project plan development methods, including interim milestones, dependency management, and critical path analysis.
  • Implement tracking methods and metrics to monitor progress, report status, identify deviations, and implement corrective action.
  • Implement processes to capture baseline metrics and support the measurement of business benefit realization.
  • Implement effective change control processes to identify impacts (scope, schedule, cost, business case benefits), complete an impact assessment, and present recommendations.
  • Support PMO communications through the preparation of executive updates, Steering Committee materials, key stakeholder meetings, and portfolio/project status reporting.
  • Facilitate cross-functional program processes and communications, such as risk and issue management.
  • Manage decision analysis and recommendations for portfolio-level issues.
  • Ensure risk mitigation strategies are defined and executed.
  • Ensure contingency plans are defined for key risks; monitor trigger dates and implement contingency solutions as needed.
  • Facilitate program stage gates to validate deliverables and approve progression to the next phase.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial management, including actual spend and forecasts for labor, non-labor, and strategic partner support; explain cost variances and implement corrective action; track cost risks and cost opportunities.
  • Display a sense of urgency and keep the team focused on results.
  • Manage, motivate, and lead project managers and team resources where applicable.
  • Be proactive and remove barriers to enable the team to progress per plan.
  • Support internal and external audit needs, including project artifact repository, deliverable acceptance criteria, and evidence, and test results.
  • Ability to seamlessly 'switch channels' and prioritize competing requests and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Years of experience in Program Management within a large matrixed organization.
  • Previous Clinical Medicare experience.
  • Experience building complex project and program artifacts, including project charters, comprehensive project plans, milestone views, status reports, issues, risk, and contingency plans, etc.
  • Proven extensive experience within IT SDLC, including but not limited to:
  • Experience with tools such as Clarity PPM, JIRA, MHK, etc. preferred.
  • Experience delivering IT solutions related to Utilization Management or Care Management.
  • PMP Certified preferred.
  • Scaled Agile Delivery with certification.
  • Scope management.
  • Quality Management.
  • Financial/Budget Management.
  • Implementation Activities.
  • Lifecycle components such as business analysis, design, testing, release management.
  • PI Planning.
  • Strong detailed analytical skills.
  • Ability to stay very organized while managing multiple tasks and activities.
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter.
  • Dealing with ambiguity and problem-solving.
  • Senior and Executive leadership presence.
  • Advanced Presentation/Facilitation skills.
  • Adapt communication style for the audience and topics.
  • Negotiation and tactful influencing skills at all levels.
  • Serve as a change agent for the organization.
  • Waterfall and Agile Experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.
